The Eureka Midori 2 (ad) is a two person tent that uses the same sort of easy setup system a lot of tents are using now to maximize space. The construction is very solid and I like how it is very tight, and thus can withstand weather and high winds. It is rain proof and fire retardant. The price is now quite reasonable, as this tent is from 2013.

Extremely lightweight at under 4.5 pounds.
Quite roomy and a bit taller than most lightweight 2 person tents.
Solid construction, not sure if you even need a footprint because the bottom is tough. It would probably help keep the tent nice though.

One door is always awkward for the inside person to get out over their partner.
As the Eureka Midori 2 (ad) is an ultra lightweight 2 person tent at a very affordable price, I think it is worth considering for anyone looking for such a tent. It may be a bit light on some features, but that also helps to keep the price down. As the tent is a bit older now, it has had plenty of people use it and it has been proven to be a solid tent that will last.
